Hal Kelly is a composer, producer and performer based in Bristol who makes electronic music for screen and stage, has self-released two experimental pop albums, and has experience in acting, performance art, sound art and 3D animation. Beginning their career in the Bristol theatre scene, they quickly found a niche in straddling the roles of musical director and on-stage performer, using their skills in piano playing alongside electronic music production to provide a versatile range of styles depending on the needs of the show. After living in Glasgow for two years to study Contemporary Performance, they moved back down south to enrol on the Digital Music and Sound Arts degree at the University of Brighton. Here they expanded their understanding of experimental music and sound design. They have now combined their various skillsets to develop their first solo show Listen To Your World, an immersive live-art mindfulness experience in which they portray an alien visiting Earth.
